Save and re-use email elements Work in Progress

The ability to save elements in the email builder (for example, in a favorites list), so that you can reuse them in another email with the same content and variations.

De mogelijkheid om elementen in de e-mailbuilder op te slaan (bijvoorbeeld in een favorietenlijst), zodat je ze in een andere e-mail kunt hergebruiken met dezelfde invulling en variaties.

In Deployteq, we already offer the option to create “objects” (basically HTML snippets, building blocks) which can be saved and re-used over multiple templates and e-mails. See https://docs.deployteq.net/dug/getting-started-with-deployteq/e-mail/working-with-an-e-mail-template/2-explanation-about-zones/2-1-objects for more information about Objects.

But since there’s quite a large number of votes on this Feature Request, I guess this must be about something else. @denise: Could you point me in the right direction on what this feature is actually about? Maybe you can point me to the documentation of another product that offers the functionality you’re missing in Deployteq?

Dit bestaat ook in andere ESP's en ik maar er daar veel gebruik van.

Dit zou een heel fijne toevoeging zijn! Zoals Daniel aangeeft bestaat in andere ESP's vaak wel en wij maken er ook veel gebruik van.

@Stephan: bedankt voor je reactie. Ik bedoel reeds opgemaakte objecten. Voorbeeld: Ik heb in een e-mail een object waarin 18 variaties zitten (er wordt een andere afbeelding en tekst weergegeven aan 18 verschillende segmenten, op basis van postcodegebied van de ontvanger). Dit object wilden we op een later moment toevoegen aan meerdere (al bestaande) campagnemails, waardoor het dus een hele taak was om in elke mail steeds opnieuw een object te maken met 18 variaties. Het zou handig zijn als zo'n reeds opgemaakt object opgeslagen kan worden om vervolgens in een andere mail toe te voegen.

Hi Denise, Thanks for getting back to me! It's absolutely clear to me now and I definitely see the benefits of being able to re-use pre-configured Objects, including the display conditions and the variables filled in. I'll try to find a way to incorporate it in the current functionality and I'll keep you posted!
