Edit mailings in draft mode, and commit changes once approved (particularly for triggers)) Open Discussion

It is commonplace to receive requests to edit content on a live trigger. We currently handle this by creating 'test' and 'live' versions of mailings, and then manually port across to live once approved. This is open to error, and so would like to introduce a 'draft mode' to designer view, whereby changes can be made and tests sent without impacting the 'journey' version of the content. Upon approval, the content can then be committed to the journey version (perhaps with management / QC sign off required?)

Hi Joseph, thanks for your feedback! In the past, we've have multiple requests for tracking changes in campaigns and templates and the ability to approve changes and/or rollback to a previous version,. Luckily, we already have a mechanism in place that keeps track of previous versions of email templates, so we could leverage this to implement the requested functionality. However, this is quite a big project for the frontend. Since we're already working on a new version of the frontend, I'm going to discuss this feature with the design team. So, it will take some time to do properly, but I'll keep you posted!
