Template Object: show evaluated default value as editable starting point in properties Open Discussion

When an override property in a Template Object has a dynamic default value, for example, text pulled from a data model, the property editor in the Designer shows an empty field, even though the preview renders the correct value. This means users have no reference point when they want to make edits: they have to manually retype or paste the text from elsewhere.

Desired behavior
When a user opens an object in the Designer, the evaluated default value should be pre-filled as editable text. This gives users a starting point to work from, without affecting the automatic fallback behavior when the field is left empty. Even better when the client can see the original text from the data model, as well as the current override.

Ideally, the editor shows both the original value from the data model and the current override value side by side, so the client always has a clear reference.

Crucially: if the override field has never been edited, updates in the data model should still flow through to the email automatically. The pre-fill should only serve as a visual reference, not be treated as a saved override.

Use case
We automatically load event (such as a musical or concert) details (title, description, etc.) based on an EventId. Clients occasionally want to make minor copy adjustments per mailing. Currently this is not workable because the evaluated text is not visible in the editable field, only in the preview.
